The CCH Applicable Federal Rates mobile application provides these rates in a handy, easy-to-use tool for tax practitioners. AFRs are computed as provided in IRC Sec. 1274(d) on the basis of the average market yield on outstanding marketable short-term, mid-term, and long-term obligations of the United States.
